I gotta say we are feeling pretty good! Our goal in doing this was to detox our bodies from crap and create healthier habits. So we have decided to follow the "no snacking" rule and the no "sex with your pants on" rule (I'll explain this more in a little).
But we did decide to not follow the "no weighing yourself until the end" rule. And here is why. Both becca and me are the heaviest we have ever been and we know that our weight, that stupid number, is important to our health. So we have decided to weigh ourselves once a week. And today is weigh in day! So here is the damage!

Woooooo!!! It's like golf up in here! We are both pretty excited to see how these 30 days pays off!
Okay so let me explain the "sex with your pants on" thing. If the idea of this program is to stop mindless eating, stop filling our bodies with food that our bodies can't process, and to learn how to cook real food, then taking real food and creating a fake version of crappy food is the opposite of what we're trying to do. Say I make cauliflower and almond chocolate chip cookies, wouldn't I really be feeding into the desire of wanting real cookies? And isn't that kind of like sex with your pants on? So we're not faking baked goods, we're not making our own peanut butter, we're eating real food that is really good for our bodies.
Anyway, off my high horse and back to breakfast. Here's to another 23 days!
